Designed
to resemble an English country fair circa 1940-50,
this delightful childrens play area is
reminiscent of a simpler more carefree time.
If you ever wondered how the Beatles might have
played when they were growing up, just take
a visit to the English Faire. The playthings
are simple, traditional, and after all these
years, still a lot of fun that kids can rediscover
all over again.
One
such feature that surely inspired the Beatles
is called a Helter Skelter. This pre-World War
II classic is a tower that kids enter inside
and climb up revolving steps to the top. Outside
the top is a slide that winds its way around
the tower back down to the bottom again
and again and again.
